Winter Style Guide '24
Winter is a bleak season, let's face it. It's probably the worst of them all. The shock of summer's end is hard. But darkness setting in earlier, single-digit temperatures and colder rainy days, marks a new season of streetwear and style that ensues.
Moving into a colder season off the back of the harsh summer heat we have faced here in Australia, we're seeing a lot more hoodies and jackets in range categories. Big names in the game such as WNDRR, ST Goliath, Silent Theory, and Stussy are encouraging a range of winter wear, settling into the colder months.
-
The biggest word seen in this colder period is LAYERS! we're seeing so many more people utilise layers to their advantage. The key to mastering the layered look is combining different textures and lengths. Start with a basic tee or a long-sleeve shirt, then add a hoodie or sweatshirt. Top it off with a bomber jacket or an oversized denim jacket. This not only keeps you warm but also adds depth and dimension to your outfit.
-
Pro Tip:
Opt for neutral tones like tan, grey, and olive as your base layers, and add pops of colour with your outer layers or accessories.

Oversized silhouettes remain a cornerstone of streetwear in 2024. Oversized hoodies, in particular, are perfect for the winter chill. Pair them with relaxed jeans or carpenter pants for that accentuated '90s vibe.
-
Winter doesn’t mean you have to stick to subdued colours. Bold prints and graphics are making a statement this season. From the Big hitters at Worship Supplies, eye-catching graphics can bring an edge to your look.

Function meets fashion with the rise of utility wear. Cargo pants, with their multiple pockets and durable fabric, are not only practical but also trendy AF! They pair perfectly with both oversized hoodies and fitted tops. If you're not into cargo pants that is fine, as relaxed jeans previously mentioned by Dickies and Volcom also allow for hardwearing attire and functionality.
-
Pro Tip:
Choose cargo pants in neutral tones like khaki or black for versatility. For a bolder look, opt for camo prints or bright colours.
